Our newsletter this week focuses on legendary spread trader Emil Van Essen. It has been nearly two years since we profiled the popular Emil Van Essen Spread program (EVE) and since that newsletter, much has changed. Overall, we remain very impressed with Mr. Van Essen and his trading. The EVE team was a champion of the spread trading space well before most of the industry, and their foresight is paying off as they are now well beyond the basic spread trading that so many others are trying to replicate just now. We enjoy watching the programs grow, and we are always excited to see what the next big idea is to come out of their office.
