The CTA Expo is going on in Chicago this week, and it’s looking pretty well attended. We had a chance to sit in on the presentation from James River, and were excited by what we heard. They’re in the process of launching two new programs, one of which will be commodity-only, with lower minimum investment requirements. We look forward to learning more about them as time goes on.

Lots of familiar faces in the crowd today, including folks from LJM and Bouchard Capital. Quantum Leap’s Juan Carlos Herrera and Alejandro Diego are in attendance as well, and we’re currently listening to famous football player Ronnie Lott’s presentation. He’s getting laughs with stories about Joe Montana, nods of agreement with observations on Tom Brady’s impressive performance, and collective gravitas as he reflects upon his 9/11 experience.
