As we saw in last week’s newsletter, the bulk of the managed futures industry continues to made up of primarily systematic, trend following type programs. We’ve researched most of them, and when you read over enough program descriptions, they can start to blur together. The terminologies and philosophies become similar, and it’s hard to find what distinguishes one program from another.

But then you stumble across a Yoga-driven systematic program that has, at times,  zigged when managed futures as an asset class has zagged;  and you come across a dynamic duo at the helm that are the odd couple of high level analysis and experimentation… and you pause. Yes, past performance is not necessarily  indicative of future results, but that’s a combination you don’t see every day.
